The Southern Highland Craft Guild presents Kaleidoscopic Whimsy, a new Focus Gallery exhibition on view October 11–December 28, 2025, at the Folk Art Center. The show features work by 5 Southern Highland Craft Guild members: myself, Betty Ann Winters, Liz Spear, Nikki Pynn, and Cindy Sugg. This show highlights the inventive use of material, color, and texture that defines the artistry of Guild members.

Mark your calendar… The Folk Art Center Main Gallery has scheduled the “big/LITTLE” show to begin Aug. 16th,  2025 and closing Jan. 21st, 2026. The idea of this exhibition is playing with proportion.

“Embracing DEI as a Core Value” is a new exhibition at Art on 7th Gallery for the month of July. All entries are from WNC artists, which guarantees you’ll see an interesting variety of exceptional fine art. I’ll be joining other Art League Artists in the upcoming exhibit “Red, White and Blue.”
As you might guess most entries will display some blue, white and red! The exhibit will run from June 28th – Sept 27, 2024 at the Henderson County Main Branch Library in the Kaplan Auditorium. Come in out of the heat and enjoy my entry, Bubbles, in air conditioning!

Marked Tree Vineyard proudly partners with The Art League of Henderson County to present the annual “La Vie en Rose Fine Art Exhibit and Gala” — a three-day experience of fine art, exceptional wine, and soul-stirring music. Foothills Craft Guild just invited me to participate in it’s “56th Annual Fine Craft Show” (Thank you FCG!). The event will take place at the Knoxville Expo Center in Knoxville TN, Nov. 4th – 6th, 2022.

I’ve donated Sunny Side Up to the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands’ annual fall raffle. The funds raised from the raffle support the guild’s education and outreach programs. Be sure to buy a raffle ticket when you visit the Fair this week!

Yay! Vining Sunshine and Line of Sight (right) were juried into the Art League’s First Annual Fiber show! This exhibit will take place in the beautiful Art on 7th gallery in Hendersonville for a VERY LIMITED TIME: September 14th – 18th, 2022. Mark your calendars!
